Hyaluronic fillers
Hyaluronic fillers
Hyaluronic fillers are of natural origin and remove unwanted wrinkles on the face and neck in just one treatment. Lips are enlarged and filled with hyaluronic fillers as desired by the patient. Fillers are absorbed after approximately 8 months to a year and are naturally broken down by the body. After they are decomposed, the procedure must be repeated. Fillers contain pure biological material – hyaluronic acid obtained from the non-pathogenic bacterium Bacillus subtilis. During the production of fillers, the latest achievements in technology were used, which ensure the highest purity and efficiency of the product.
Fillers are produced using technology that slows down the process of biodegradation of fillers. The residence time at the injection site is extended. It lasts, depending on the density of the filler, from 9 to 14 months. Given that the breakdown of hyaluronic acid depends on the enzyme hyaluronidase present in our body, the duration of the filler is individual. So for some people it lasts much longer than average.
Likewise, the location of application plays a significant role. Because areas around the mouth that are very mobile break down the filler faster than, for example, the area of the cheeks that is static.
Filler application procedure
Before applying the filler, the area is smeared with an anesthetic cream or a dental block anesthesia is used. And during the procedure, it is additionally anesthetized with ice. The filler is injected with a cannula (fewer punctures and hematoma) or with a very thin needle, and the procedure lasts 15-30 minutes. Possible side effects in sensitive skin such as redness, swelling and bruising disappear in a few days, but they can also be hidden with concealer and do not prevent normal activities.
Application of hyaluronic fillers
Virtually everything on the face and neck can be shaped and filled with filler, which can postpone the need for surgery for at least ten years. Which means, furrows around the mouth and under the nose, furrows on the forehead, vertical and horizontal, lips-edge with or without enlargement of the upper and lower lips, small wrinkles above the lips, wrinkles around the eyes, wrinkles under the eyes, wrinkles on the neck.
In addition to filling wrinkles, it is possible to completely model the face, increase the volume of the cheeks or fill in a larger depression, for example on the chin or nose. During the first examination (which is free), the doctor will recommend the right choice and match it with expectations and financial possibilities. The difference between the fillers is solely in density and cross-linking, but it is always hyaluronic acid.
Emphasis on facial modeling in several steps and strategic points:
The first way is with the application of a minimum amount of product for a specific place or point, in order to achieve the maximum effect.
There are precisely defined anatomical structures on the face (which are located differently in different face types), which we treat with a minimum dose for that area, so that with a smaller amount of filler, we can treat practically the entire face.
This is ideal for the beginning of therapy and for patients who do not need to compensate for a large loss of volume, after all for younger patients.
The second method is more suitable for large loss of volume and is done with particularly dense and elastic hyaluronic acid. Technically, it is performed with only one single injection in the cheek area, with a cannula that is blunt so that bruises and tissue damage do not occur. Modeling can straighten the contours of a sagging chin. As the densest filler, the effect lasts up to a year and a half.
After the application, certain inconveniences such as swelling, bruising and redness are possible.
More sensitive areas such as the lips, the area around the eyes, the forehead and the upper part of the nose, may be slightly swollen for a day or two, and after the treatment of dark circles, it usually takes two or three days for the area to calm down. The redness that occurs after the injection is mainly due to the disinfectant and in the area of the injection.
Who are hyaluronic fillers intended for?
There is no fixed age limit for the application of fillers. Of course, it is the age of 18 when we can fill lips, some facial defects or acne scars. Oftentimes, even young women, due to genetic inheritance, have very pronounced wrinkles between the lips and nose, which makes them look older than their age, so hyaluronic acid is ideal as a solution to their problem.
Likewise, there is no upper age limit, and the amount should not be a problem either, because refreshment can be achieved even with a small amount.
Men are just as suitable for hyaluronic treatment as women, and they most often have wrinkles between the nose and lips (nasolabial wrinkles) and wrinkles on the forehead and around the eyes.
What should be avoided after the treatment?
Immediately after the treatment, it is not recommended to make very large changes in the temperature of the sauna type. It is advisable to put ice on the injection site on that day, and if it is about modeling and lifting, do not sleep on the cheeks that were filled. Otherwise, with most fillings, a person can normally fulfill his daily duties.
