What is general dentistry?

General dentistry deals with the repair of damage caused by CARIES and the spread of bacterial inflammation in the dental pulp (ENDODONTICS) or in the periodontium (PARIODONTOLOGY).

The time when the patient will come to the office is of crucial importance for the success of the therapy. At the beginning of the action of bacteria on the dental structure or with the progression and spread of the infection to the surrounding tissues. We are “happy” when we can “cure” a tooth from caries in one visit by making a filling.
We make fillings or “fillings” from the latest generation of composites for adults or from biocompatible materials for children, young people and pregnant women.
What is endodontic dental treatment?

With the progression of the disease into the pulp and into the root of the tooth, we must deal with ENDODONTIC TREATMENT.
Endo treatment is performed by cleaning the canals with manual or machine needles, disinfecting and filling with temporary or permanent fillers.

The whole process of dental treatment requires more time than the filling itself, which comes at the end of this treatment, but only when we are convinced of a “good job” with x-rays. Dental canal treatment and filling systems include the latest materials and technologies. In the office, we can record every single phase of the treatment with an X-ray/RVG machine.

What is periodontal treatment?

PERIODONTOLOGICAL TREATMENT in the case of diseased tooth support is performed by a specialist periodontologist to whom we refer the patient. We perform all preparatory actions as well as initial periodontal therapy in the office.

In addition to the obligatory cleaning and polishing of the teeth with pastes, we remove tartar ultrasonically, we can additionally sandblast the teeth, and in the case of gingivitis, we perform curettage or cleaning around the teeth. Advanced periodontal disease destroys the tissue that supports the tooth in the bone and eventually leads to the loss of one or more teeth, along with bone loss. We are trying to prevent or at least slow down this process.
